COMEZ SIMBIO is a machine which combines two functions:
- the covering of the elastic thread, carried out by a crochet machine
- the weaving of the elastic belt, carried out by a needle loom Müller NF special execution.
The Crochet Machine has a 400 mm operating width and uses bearded needles. It is equipped with a weft bar for inserting the rubber or elastomer threads, and a warp bar which forms the classic chain around the elastic thread, covering it with multifilament synthetic threads, such as polyester, nylon or polypropylene.
The covered elastic thread passes through the healds directly into the weaving heads of the Müller Needle Loom may have:
- 2 heads, for the simultaneous production of 2 belts with a maximum width of 90 mm (covering up to a maximum of 3 elastic threads, count 24)
- 4 heads, for the simultaneous production of 4 belts with a maximum width of 50 mm (covering up to a maximum of 3 elastic threads, count 24).
The advantage of all this is the fact that a direct passage is obtained between the raw materials (rubber, elastomer, polyester, etc.) and the finished product (woven belt). In this way, the eventuality of interruptions in the production stage is eliminated, bringing about a reduction in production costs. Thanks to the COMEZ SIMBIO/M, the three traditional stages (covering, warping, weaving), traditionally carried out using different kinds of machine and in separate departments, are efficiently and economically combined in a single operation.
Very high operating and productivity rates.
